The requirements for true DeFi infrastructure are simple but very (very) hard to implement at scale: a) be permissionless: anyone can build b) be immutable: anyone can own Without these, you are most likely just building an onchain brokerage platform.

If you move away from DAO-managed loans and embrace the free market approach, onchain undercollat loans become trivial. Morpho V2 will push far beyond existing limits: a machine letting the market price any form of repayment commitment — collateral, id, rep, scores, ...

In that case, we wouldn’t charge swap fees — we’d pass the value to users to improve their implied rates, and then the DAO could potentially capture value on the rate. Swaps are highly synergistic with lending but @Morpho is a lending network. Charging on swaps wouldn’t align
@PaulFrambot @Morpho so that means that if morpho UI ever adds swapping helpers to work with the protocol, fees would go to the DAO?
