Yeah, and the biggest round of applause goes to Eileen O'Neill Burke for the drops in crime. Under Burke, detainments have gone up for gun offenders and domestic abusers. Unlike you, Judge Burke understands denying bail and throwing people in the slammer keeps streets safe.

For the new municipal finance followers…. A “corporate head tax” is a couple bucks a month PER EMPLOYEE tax on businesses for…wait for it…EMPLOYING PEOPLE IN CHICAGO. Two Daley Mayors thought a monthly per job created tax was a genius policy.
