Piped water reached all the homes in our Panchayat this year too, under the Jal shakti programme. Urban residents may not realize how important this facility is for rural areas… and how long it took to get here. Simple step that needed Modi Ji’s purposeful vision & will.
Government provided piped water supply has arrived in my native village in Thanjavur district. Every household in the village now has a water connection.
Our democratic system is slow but eventually it gets things done. 🙏
