Has anyone else been ghosted by @tayanecklace after preordering? I’ve reached out via support and founders multiple times…. silence 🤔

Yes to making daily life a little (or a lot) better for people 👏
Airbnb CEO @bchesky says more AI founders should be starting consumer businesses. "I'm on the board of Y Combinator. 87% of companies are enterprise companies per batch." "Enterprise is awesome... but the biggest prize is consumer. That is what's going to reach daily life for

Another thought here: thinking tools feel like going to the oracle — something “other”/outside ourselves. Capture systems feel owned, like an extension of self — “my” notes app, camera roll, tabs, etc.
I've been thinking a lot about "thinking tools" vs. "capture tools" lately. Why does it feel so unnatural to drop a link, screenshot, to-do, or half-formed thought in a chat assistant?

I think "everyday capture" is the missing link for personal AI. General purpose assistants aren't designed for this. Structured data streams are easy to ingest automatically, but for the other stuff, we should make ingestion effortless and natural by building on existing

This scattered context (and the cognitive load of managing it) is a major source of overwhelm. AI should be able to help. These "raw materials" are essential context, and yet they almost always fall outside the bounds of what these general assistants can see.

noticing a big shift in what feels most natural for different kinds of braindumping recently. jotting down to-dos or saving screenshots, links etc in a note is great. but voice is my go-to for thinking or anything freeform.

The Memex imagined a connected, personalized system. A private memory layer. A tool that was shaped around the person who used it.

The internet is a powerful global library, and a fragmented personal one.

This is the dream behind what we’re building with @getmellowapp. Not a search engine for the world’s knowledge, but a system that understands *your* knowledge and the fragments that make up who you are…and helps you remember, organize, and act on them. And one that fits on your
