I got a few DMs asking how I was doing after mint, probably because @OneYearOfShape didn’t sell out fast. As I write this, it’s at 127/365. It made me realize how deep the “not sold out = bad” mentality runs in web3. But why is that bad? I’m genuinely happy with how it went.

Launching a project you’ve spent months on is way more stressful than I expected. You want everything perfect and even the smallest issue feels huge. During launch, a small contract issue broke the IPFS links for about 20 minutes. @WhyCaptainY jumped on a call immediately and

Unpopular opinion: web3 gaming isn’t dead. What’s dead is inexperienced teams spinning up “gaming projects” just to ride a trend. And that’s a good thing. Treat projects like web2 companies. Look at revenue and real metrics, not hype.

Don’t use your Arena Tokens too early. Stack until you’re holding a solid bag. When you get to that point, start the week with half at first to learn the system, then commit more. Keeps you alive if things go wrong with a bad matchup or disconnect. (5/9) 🧵
