Four years ago. A decision I don’t regret. Started as a band 4 IEN, to a band 5 RMN, a band 6 clinical lead (in 6 months) and now a Nurse Educator in a University Centre influencing the next generation of future nurses. I am forever grateful to God for his grace and mercy 🥹

The last day . Grateful to God almighty for wisdom! Genuinely up there with some of the toughest jobs on earth , We go again ❤️
Last week as a ward manager I have gained valuable experience over the last 9 months I have acted up which I will take into my new role. One of the toughest jobs on earth is managing people but I have learned to be calm and be more solution oriented Ko easy but God is good 😀

Remember it’s not easy to be a Band 7/8. If you jam some crazy dept/organisation, it’s by God’s grace you’ll still be sane at the end of the week. Be easy on yourself and only go for the role if you’re ready to be madly challenged and can weather the unending storm xx

I did this in school of nursing. I feel you my sister. During a posting in A&E I had to assist the NO II to dress a DM ulcer in the neck, it was bringing out maggots. Another time it was a necrosed foot with maggots falling off. It was Jik we used as air freshener 😫
Did one massive Vulva CA dressing. I was asked to do it as punishment for insubordination. With two masks, perfume oil in-between and loads of air freshener, it still smelled like rotten flesh and eggs 😭😭. It was massive and bled when touched. I almost fainted 💔

Been taking pictures/videos of my baby everyday since birth. And I just looked at the pictures I took in the first week. My oh my!! You really blink and they’re all grown 🥹

When I was a band 4 I messaged PJ to give me some tips as I would be starting work very soon as a band 5 Young boy,scared of what was coming PJ gave me all the support I needed and advice available. Used everyone of it nd yeah the results are visible to the blind Thank you PJ
