The Society opposes the plan by @metpoliceuk to close its front counter service in Twickenham. This means there will be no police station in the borough to report crime in person. We agree with @LBRUT that this is “deeply concerning and a major blow to local policing.”

Absolutely furious about @MayorofLondon’s and @metpoliceuk plan to close #Twickenham police station’s public counter. When Richmond police station was closed in 2017 residents were told they would still be able to use Twickenham. @munirawilson and I will be opposing this cut

The Richmond Society is asking the developers of the site of the former Richmond Inn Hotel to make their future plans known. It’s currently an eyesore, and we want to know when remedial work will start.

The May Fair on Saturday May 10th is already shaping up to be even bigger and better than last year. New charity and business stalls, the usual barbecues, but also a wider range of international cuisine, plenty of entertainment, an amazing Dog Show and of course the Fun Fair.
