but some percentage of the time it was a calculated move to try to gain an advantage in the game and they should have gotten a GRV. I would feel bad for giving a well-meaning player that lost track of the boardstate with explores and bounceland triggers a hard time

This post also serves as a reminder that cheaters exploit your kindness as a player and grey areas in what does/doesn't require a judge to solve in game. For example if my titan opponent accidentally makes an extra land drop I might just wave it off and tell them to return it.

Though it works somewhat, we are partially at the mercy of each individual person finding and interacting with a social media post, and some percentage of RC competitors or RCQ attendees just won't recognize the name of the player about to cheat against them.

Its interesting to me that due to wizards of the coast not really having a system for tracking cheaters we're kinda reduced to a panoptic system housed on social media to keep them in check. For example, @fireshoes creating a collection of stories about Noah Rabin.
