We are so proud of our OLOL Year 6 who made their Confirmation yesterday with Bishop David. It was a truly beautiful Mass with every child invested in deepening their knowledge and practise of our faith. What great witnesses to Christ in the world you will all be. Mrs D 🙏🕊️

Can I take a moment to thank parents who are talking with my office team about their roles and DfE guidance on Key Working provision. Your support and understanding is making a tough job so much easier this morning.
OLOL had a very prayerful Marian Procession today to celebrate our devotion to honouring Mary in the month of May. The children were beautifully reverent and Year 5 did a lovely job of leading us in prayer and song. Thank you parents for the flowers for Our Lady. Mrs D

We did go to the ball....and what a time we had. Even if the dame fell in love with Mr Woollard and then changed her mind and married the king! It all ended happiy ever after and we got back to school before the clock struck midnight!
We are having an amazing visit at York Minster. Thank you to Rev. Griffin who gave us so much time, explaining the different parts of the Cathedral and the symbols. More photos on website later! Mrs D

On this special day, let us rejoice for mums, grannies and all who play a mothering role in the life of others. Let us also think today about the mothers who have gone from this life to the next, mothers who have lost children, and those unable to be mothers for whatever reason.
