#Trauma is trauma. However "big" the trauma or whether cumulative trauma by 1000 cuts, the impact on our brains & bodies can be the same “It doesn’t matter how much water a person is drowning in, what matters is that they’re drowning & they need to...breathe" #PTSDAwarenessDay
.@InvictusScanlan has served in the Canadian military and now works as a firefighter – she has battled mental health injuries with courage and strength. Watch this video to hear her story.

I stand with all paramedics. To imply that paramedics are not healthcare workers is simply ludicrous! Dealing with sick Covid patients on a daily basis yet having no rapid access to immunization makes zero sense. I would welcome a conversation with @fordnation anytime on this.
According to @fordnation and Rick Hiller, we aren’t healthcare workers. While we try to resolve this identity crisis we’ll be responding to your medical emergencies in your homes, businesses, LTC and hospitals to provide...health care.

Were it not for #Covid_19, we would gather today to remember all those Firefighters who made the supreme sacrifice at the @cfff memorial. The names of too many friends and colleagues are on this wall. Rest In Peace one and all. @Toronto_Fire
