A first! We saw a pileated woodpecker today in our yard. Three crows were swooping at it protecting their territory, as we have a murder that lives in our woods. It flew away before I could take a picture. Full credit for this stunning photo goes to my friend and peer Greg Guy.

Chuffed by this new reader review. Can’t ask for anything more than this. Thank you, kind reader. Book available online, in most East Coast stores, and on my website.

It’s coming along. Decluttering mentally and physically. Week two and I am well into the new year and organizing and prep work. Working on my master document for a new project. This handful of pages will help me focus and stay on track as I manoeuvre through 2026. It begins!

Happy Birthday, Mr. Bill Jessome. One-of-a-kind storyteller. Never afraid to share his tips and skills. A mentor and true leader. Friend to many. I am lucky to have been in his inner circle. The person above all who encouraged me to start writing books. RIP, dear friend. ❤️

Saturday morning vibes. Get outside today if at all possible. Like spring out there. Goo the cat is holding down the fort at Groundhog Productions. Had a great walk with friends in woods. Squirrels 🐿️ are enjoying the sun and so am I! Happy Saturday. 🥜

Thank you to my friend and peer Jane Doucet for the five-star rating of my book about gratitude called “Silver Linings.” As we embark on a new year, leaning to gratitude is key. You can see all my books at https://t.co/Kpuafu3Ccw

This week is all about organizing, decluttering, setting routine, booking things, cooking, organizing - and all the while “Goo” the cat is my sous chef and understudy. I am purrfectly happy with my one employee. 🐈

Someone told me my book about small acts of kindness is the first book they are reading in 2026. More kindness is needed this year! Bring it on! Thank you. Grateful, Lisa. 🥹❤️

The mini cardinal dish was given to me by a friend this Christmas, and then my daughter gave me the matching mini pitcher - without knowing the other persons’ intentions. How cool is that? Love this wee set! It’s the little things. This serendipity is a gift itself. 🎁

What a sunrise. Tea by the tree. Hoping freezing rain isn’t too bad today for everyone. Stay safe if you have to venture out.

Now in that period of the holidays and vacation that it’s “the anyday.” This occurance and feeling only happens this week for me - all year long - and I will lean into it and keep checking the calendar to see what day it actually is. Today was pj day and so I am happy.

Not a creature was stirring not even a mouse. Because Goo is on duty. My trusty sidekick next to me as I sip a coffee and Bailey’s (it’s the holidays people) and I am the only person up in the household. Perhaps our slow, quiet moments are the biggest gift.

After today, the days start getting longer. Brighter. They can be brighter every day with a gratitude practice. Lean into it on a dark day. Look for the helpers. Thanks to my helpers. The people who guided me through the dark after Mom and Dad died. When I was sick with Lyme. ❤️

Furry sidekick. In bed with a barometric pressure headache from the storm. Started last night. Anyone else? Goo the Nurse Cat is at my side. We don’t deserve the animals. Last weekend before Christmas. Travel safely if you are heading out or fighting the crowds.
