It's frustrating to feel that there's something vaguely wrong with a newly finished artwork. Usually it takes me about a week to see it.

In conclusion, I can say that in order for AI to produce unusable output from your drawings, you need to make the original images less usable. This means that the result can only be achieved with visible and obvious glaze. Sad, but it's not like we have a choice.

This one is a good example of what happens with high intensity glaze. Clean output is definetely bad, but glazed one is pure shit. I assume that distortions are more noticible when AI tries to force a big change to the image. So your small watermark will probably be easily

Here you can see an AI output from clean and glazed versions of the same image. It doesn't prevent deriviation, but adds distortions. It's most noticible in areas with decent color complexity.

For starters, here is clean and glazed versions of Mona. The original image is big, I suspect that glaze works better with lower resolution, but I'm too lazy to test this.

I tested webglaze (without nightshade) with the new AI slopifier from X. The result is positive, but perhaps not what you would like to see. You can see the comparison in the thread. In short, glaze works as intended, but only at high intensity. It adds distortions and artifacts

What is this sh*t? They straight up added new feature and anyone can just edit your image, you posted, using GenAi. So far it seems like there is no way turning it off.

Really good and inspiring thread. It's so tastefully worded, everyone should read it. I feel a little jealous about not being able to describe all that so eloquently, my temper is short, and I'm happy that people like Nicholas exist, they are making our lives a little bit easier.

I have to add my voice to the chorus: there is nothing more insulting, disempowering, or a surer sign that you’re working with hacks (& there are many, wedged into middle management in AAA) than receiving an AI moodboard as a concept artist, and I need to talk about it

There's hardly anyone who hates genAI more than me, but damn, can you stop making shit up to push unhinged conspiracy theories? It's placeholders, not concept art or even references. Those are not production assets. Placeholders are used to test code with something before actual

Blatantly obvious at this point that E33 was meant to normalize the disguising of corporate focus grouped products as "outsider art" and even took the chance to normalize AI and asset flip junk that most people won't even notice. AAA devs will set up shell companies to do it more

I think this particular trend lays out the fundamental shitiness of AI media more than most other stuff, the inherent narcissism of assuming that everyone else is going to be excited as you are about watching a video where you are pretending to have met a bunch of famous people

Two days, actually. The thing is, I may not be a very good artist, but I am an artist nonetheless. AI slop can compete with me in corporate enviroment, where everything depends on the boss, who doesn't know what art is, has no taste for it, or zero respect for himself and his

@ostakoth @clarwey You been here since 2023, no portfolio, one piece of artwork that took you a week to make, yet you got the nerve to talk shit about other AI artist. A prompter has probably spent more time deep diving into art theory then you have your entire life.

Damn, I guess she can't draw properly after all, that's the first time I'm fooled by tech. This situation was pretty informative, now I know about AR tracing, about keying-out green to hide an image you are tracing. I wonder what would be the next way for them to cheat their way

You were accused of tracing AI images instead of drawing them yourself, not of being unable to draw at all. The speedpaint shown in your previous post demonstrates a different level of drawing skill, and is fundamentally different to what was published earlier. For example,

What surprises me most about people like Asamiarts is that they are willing to spend hours writing walls of text, justifying and explaining how they owe nothing to anyone, but when it comes to evidence, they never have the time, desire, or obligation to take responsibility for

@cinedatabase Agreed. The AI tag is relevant to art exhibits for authorship disclosure, and to digital content licensing marketplaces where buyers need to understand the rights situation. It makes no sense for game stores, where AI will be involved in nearly all future production.

They cut out 30% of the script, replaced beautifully crafted backgrounds with shitty 3D renders, and turned good character designs into geteric slop. What a disappointment.
