I remember a game project where I had to explain to our writer (who had only written tv shows before) that we can have as many helicopter crashes as we wanted because those assets were created, but we had to limit bespoke dialog cutscenes because they're too expensive to animate.
Having pitched to movie folks, they really think making games is so much simpler than making movies. I had a studio head say to me "It's just people on computers right?" The economics are probably better in games though if you know what you're doing. It's still hard.
