Just remember a sporting directors job is to make objective decisions for the best of the club, and not let emotion be a threat to objectivity. There’s a reason fans and sporting directors have very different views a lot of the time #ncfc.

I genuinely was expecting about 3-5m if he was going this summer. A lot of jury’s out on knappers incomings tbf, but he certainly knows how to get a top top price for sales #ncfc.

What’s funniest about these replies is not how badly they’ve aged over 3 years which can happen, but how badly they aged in about 2 weeks, he scored 4 in the next 3 games after this, 6 in the next 6 games 😂 #ncfc.

Important game for #ncfc tonight, real chance for people to stake their case of why they should be in the league team. It was the early on EFL cup games in 18/19 which provided the platform for the likes of Aarons and Stiepi to get in the league team and a catalyst for promotion.

Understand that Sligo Rovers want a club record fee in the region of €1.5 million for Owen Elding. Norwich City, Club Brugge, and Robbie Keane’s Ferencváros, among others, are showing interest in Elding. He is not expected to move until January.

Wonder if we’ll got back in for another midfielder if this happens (Mattsson?). Can understand selling him if there’s interest and he’s not first choice but leaves us very light there for backups #ncfc.

Do feel this is a mistake if it means we’re giving up on Mattsson, who I feel suits us a lot more and has a higher ceiling, although Topic is a good player nonetheless. Unless we’re going for both now or mattsson is just out of range which seems unlikely #ncfc.

With the potential midfield recruitment, instead of wasting funds and blocking pathways by signing a stopgap LB, I think the best solution would be to use McLean there as the temporary solution tbh #ncfc.
