Having consistent github contributions is generally a good thing until you start using it for social credit and the metric itself becomes the goal (instead of what it is intended to measure)
If you are an exceptional engineer. And want to work on a company that will compound. Every. Single. Year. DM me. This is my github contribution history. I'd expect yours to be better.

Tools like this make the OP stack great. So many high-caliber eng teams constantly building new tools and shipping new code which lift all the other OP Stack chains up with them
Last night's AWS outage could have resulted in Base chain downtime. Thanks to the hard work from the team over the last two years, sequencing is resilient to cloud outages and there was no interruption in block building 🙏 Check out op-conductor (link in thread) if you're

In the Gold vs Bitcoin competition, bitcoin has the advantage of being natively onchain It may seem obvious, but as the financial world shifts to onchain infrastructure, BTC is already primed to be the store of value underpinning the system Any effort to retrofit gold into
Saying the obvious. Most people “in crypto” know this, most people “not in crypto” may not understand yet. Tokenizing gold is NOT “on chain” gold. It’s tokenizing that you trust some third party will give you gold at some later date, even after their management changes, maybe

I've always been an Ethereum-maxi when it comes to defi but the main place where I think another solution makes sense is defi built on top of BTC For BTC defi it makes the most sense to go straight to the source; Bitcoin's L1 @ArchNtwrk enabling bridgeless access to defi from
Welcome to the new Arch. Sharper visuals, stronger voice, and a better feel to make real Bitcoin, finally programmable. Bitcoin should do more. Now it can.

One thing that many insiders realize but the general crypto ecosystem hasn’t quite caught onto is that privacy enabled by ZK/validiums are about to transform the industry Pretty ironic that the main driver for this is institutional adoption where user balances need to be private

With the deployment of @tydrohq, Ink has just gone 25x their defi TVL in a couple days. And this is without TGE. OP Stack chains continue to dominate

In other news, the US literally just sent two B52 bombers to draw a 🍆 flightpath near Venezuelan airspace. Where's the polymarket for this one 😅

If Ethena did indeed make it through yesterday without a scratch (and it appears they did), they've earned a spot as one of the best risk-adjusted protocols in defi As someone who was once very skeptical of Ethena, I've become a believer after watching the team execute at a high

crazy how bitcoin is out there all by itself with $2.5T TVL sitting onchain 🤔
Crypto's application layer is too narrow. The current stack lacks programmability and blockchains can't handle the compute modern apps need. @EigenLayer just launched EigenCloud to solve this with verifiable compute at cloud scale. 🧵

I found them thanks to @Polymarket's /trades endpoint. Pretty easy to just filter the transactions +/- 2 minutes from the 2pm ET decision time Interestingly enough, their other trades from the day are bitcoin price markets & european soccer

Betting sports on prediction markets is better than betting on on sports books BUT Sports are the WORST thing to bet on if you want to make money. You are competing against teams of 50+ quants and million dollar data feeds (unless you are actually at the game, then its good)
1: The notion that market makers, which are the backbone of all financial markets, somehow makes exchanges similar to sportsbooks is false even in its most generous interpretation. For those of you not wanting to read an entire thread… TL;DR: On a sportsbook, there is a single
