VR is not just "simulation", its ALSO about interaction and experience. And simulation is not the same as immersion, as a person can reject a simulation for many reasons, which breaks immersion. Immersion = to involve oneself deeply in a particular activity or interest.

Think of a window FRAME. ๐ช Half Life was VR- you simply observed it through a FLAT window. Monitors had no parallex or depth. But it was always VR! What is it to peer through a window Frame? What is traditional gaming in 3D? Not stereoscopic tricks, but with parallax? A
