Evin prison is notorious for holding political prisoners. Seems trans people are more likely to resist an authoritarian religious dictatorship. I'm sure Rowling will be along to explain how that's a bad thing.
Israel's attack on Tehran killed 100 transgender people held in Evin prison. They were inmates who lived in a trans section of the jail destroyed by the Israeli attack. This is on top of the 79 Iranians confirmed killed in Israel's attack on the prison. This is HORRIFIC

Concentration camps, no words. I was taught one of the most important lessons from the holocaust was that the Germans involved were ordinary people. Dehumanise and hate a group of people enough and anyone can commit the same crimes as them. Another horrible step on that road. .
