Happy Lunar New Year! This pastel is Lady of the Moon by Edward Robert Hughes (1851 - 1914). His work frequently featured beautiful women personifying ideas - such as seasons - or inanimate objects. This work is housed at our Collections Store in Bankhead, Glenrothes.
