same - but the design interview process sucks so I started my own business. haven’t had to do a white boarding challenge or on-site interviews in years, booking clients became straight-forward, currently at 22K MRR and growing.
the job market was so bad i had to start my own business. bless for that.

@ 22k mrr . next month I’ll be bringing on a design partner (ex-apple, prev colleague) to help level up the design and take on more clients - exciting time :). (but also bc running a solo studio is kind of lonely 🥲).

so many founders in nyc building cool things. so many cafes unexplored. what if there was something that can pair up founders in similar space/vibes? like a blind co-working date for founders? and you can note if you want it to be a silent productive session, a jam session, etc….

like sometimes I just wanna go to a cute cafe and work in silent with someone yknow. it would be cool if that someone understands your struggle. like a sort of camaraderie.

my challenge for myself was to get 10k followers so that i would qualify for the tiktok creator fund (video monetization). that took me about 2 months which was good but could have been much faster if i was more aggressive with posting consistently. growing on tiktok relied less
