Two important notes: 1- the argument undermines illusionism as well and 2 -no one has ever really successfully responded to this argument
@infovoy_v2 @gniksAtsuJmi @Philip_Goff My argument is that it is possible that consciousness is physical and that is enough to rule out dualism; your dissatisfaction with current neuroscience doesn't show a contradiction in that view. Chemistry got a head start, give neuro some time

@onemorebrown The overconfidence in claiming that a brain-based consciousness is wrong is even worse knowing that the alternatives accept the neural correlates of consciousness as real but have no explanation of how a non-brain based consciousness could somehow interact with/depend on the NCCs
