if you aren't careful, people will use flowery language to describe their selfish & self serving interests and make it sound like a noble thing that you exhaust & deprive yourself meeting them.

whether the gifter has savings or or not doesn't concern them as long as the gravy train is uninterrupted.. beg, borrow,steal, overdraft getting their gift is all they care about expect anything from them? crickets,ghosting or volcanic eruption rarely ever reciprocity

they rarely/if ever consider how much their demands & expectations are putting on the post-bills income if the giver as long as they get to keep theirs and spend what they are gifted or avoid using their own income to buy the things they con out of the gifter that's NOT love

They'll use "love" as the excuse As if the owner of the money/the giver, does not like good things for themselves or have obligations. and should spend every waking & working hour thinking about how to send them gifts/money they expect or demand regardless of convenience.

for the most part those who are loud about "my love language is gifts" are grifters, gluttons & entitled. Ask them how many gifts/much money they've given out recently no strings attached,they cant answer Cos they really mean l only care about receiving/being gifted.

Some conversations on marriage on this app wont be so frequent, if - character & integrity was at the top of the list of spousal choice -people weren't resentful they have to be of service & not just served -people didn't marry with hidden self serving motives, spouse = utility

If you've seen a few episodes of THE CROWN, you'd see the irony in the demand for "Princess treatment" There are obligations & accountability to her title, the crown, the family the public more about others less about self more duty than pampering reality v fairy tales
