Insurance works best for unlikely but devastating events. So, dropping health insurance because you probably won’t get cancer goes against the whole point. It’s why you generally need life insurance when you’re younger. Less likely to die, more financially devastating.
Thinking of going naked on health insurance. Is this a bad idea? . I have insurance, it costs me so much. And I still pay an ass ton out of pocket. Baring the low probability risk of disease; going no health insurance is a better deal. Just pay everything out of pocket.
