We’re returning to New London, Minnesota in spring for final touches on new 18-hole design: Tepetonka. We’ll shape the last short course green, cut bunker edges & fine-tune grassing lines on main course. With nice spring weather, expect preview rounds this summer📸 @capturefilmco

The centre section of Huntingdale has seen the fewest routing changes, but there’s still plenty to spot: 2 double greens at 12 & 18, new 10th (old 9th) & putting green, different par 3 at 15 (old 12th) & par 5 13th (old 10th), plus bunker changes, fewer trees & more short grass.

For years, Huntingdale was known more for being the de facto home of the Australian Open than a great golf course, even if it originally has ties to famed British architect C.H. Alison. After the recent @OCMGolf dramatic overhaul, that reputation is no more.

Time on site during construction is the most important part of our role as architects. Walking the land, weighing possibilities, deciding the best way forward. Sketching in the field is part of that process. Sometimes it's a simple line drawing. Other times, more elaborate.

Sandringham Golf Course A delightful introduction to sandbelt golf. Redesigned by @OCMGolf in 2019, this par 65 packs a punch and is presented in a very fine manner. The fescue approaches with firm turf ensure the ground game is alive and kicking

Out at Revitalised Huntingdale GC for Sunday Women’s Pennant. A sight to behold 👀- no comparison with the old - great site exposed in all its splendour - just a brilliant reworking by @OCMGolf

The northern section of Huntingdale GC has seen the biggest transformation of any part of the property. The driving range has moved to the old 16th, a new finisher sits below the clubhouse, a short par 3 joins the front nine, and a larger hidden water storage completes the shift.

Hooly DOOLY 🤩 I’m very excited to see the finished product 🏌🏻♂️
Huntingdale has been an important part of the sandbelt since opening in 1941, but its reputation was cemented in the 80s when it became home to the Aus Masters. Our aim with the new design is to recapture that recognition, excitement & interest for the next generation of golfers.

#7 on my #TweederTop25of2025 is Medinah (No. 3), the best course I’ve ever played in my home state of Illinois. Originally a 1928 Tom Bendelow design, Ogilvy, Cocking & Mead transformed a once tree-ridden, sterile championship course into an absolute gem! Loved the bunkering!!

@AusGolfPassport Rosebud North is also working towards an @OCMGolf master plan slowly! Roughly 9 holes in and doing 2-3 holes per year!

It's always great to be in Mr. Hogan's neck of the woods. Shady Oaks is such a delight.
