Because, and this may surprise you, but a lot of women are still attracted to men. So they write men they like for other women who likes them.
Just because women write M/M for other women doesn't mean it's not centred around men. If they're writing for other women, why they're not writing F/F? Why do they have to write about men? I'm a woman writing about women for women because I'm celebrating women and centering women
