ever since i was a little girl i have loved staying up really late hanging out with myself and thinking about stuff and things

I hope you’re sent to places that hold you gently, places that feel like an exhale. I hope you’re led to places that quiet the noise inside you, places where you don’t have to earn your presence. I hope the places you go rise up to meet you~ softly, like they’ve been waiting.

Being in tune with the world around you is your natural state.

Your garden isn’t thriving because every time a flower blooms you cut it to prove to someone else that you’re a gardener. Focus, please.

get back into it. whatever it is; the gym, your art, your studies, that book you haven’t finished, that project you shelved. whatever you weren’t ready for then; you’re ready for now.

If you look for positive things throughout your day, you’ll find them. If you look for negative things throughout your day, you’ll find them. It’s all about where you want to put your energy and being being mindful with your thoughts and intentions.

This is a story of the lone journey, a pilgrimage to places previously unknown. A time of challenges that represent growth, and finally looking ones true self in the mirror. A story of solitude. A story of sunrises seen and felt. A story of holding onto love and letting love go.
