Was wondering why I was seeing screenshots of Xcode beta being installed from Apple's download directly. Looks like their funky packaging messes up @xcodesapp being able to install the update.

iOS 26 is definitely gonna be a hate it or love it release. No matter what, someone will complain about the glass they ultimately ship. Some will hate the glass UI altogether.

If I was a conspiracy theorist, I would say Jacks new app just brings attention to a time when we all have phones and no cell/isp internet connection. Does that seem hard to believe? How extensive of a blackout?.

Funny how opening a 500k character JSON file in any modern IDE is fast, instant even. Enter Xcode: hangs entire laptop to a snails pace as it attempts to read the file. Building the app with it makes it even slower and never finishes.
