EXPOSED: A new dossier from @wawog_now reveals material and ideological ties between Israel and journalists, editors, and executives of The New York Times. Whether serving in the IOF or taking money from pro-Israel consultancies, the staff at the Times is compromised.

Joe Kahn, the NYT’s executive editor, called it racist and offensive to suggest his dad’s seat on the board of CAMERA — a hardline pro-Israel media watchdog — impacted his views. But when it’s Mamdani, suddenly a parent’s politics and academic works are fair game.

Free our doctor!!! #FreeDrHussamAbuSafiyah
According to his family, Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya is on a list of Palestinian prisoners approved for release; he is not yet free. In January, we published his dispatches from the besieged Kamal Adwan hospital. “My blood is no more precious than that of the people we serve,” he said.

He was one of the few journalists who survived the genocide, lived to report on the ceasefire agreement, celebrated in the streets—so they had him killed by their collaborators. Saleh al-Jaafarawi joins his colleagues in martyrdom. Death to Zionism and its accomplices. Glory to
❤️🩹One of the last videos of martyred journalist Saleh al-Jaafarawi shows him smiling as he helps children take turns to wear his press vest. “I’m raising the next generation,” he says. “Even if they target us, the children will take our place and continue this mission." shuoli

I wrote an article about how Israel with the cover-up of Western media outlets murders journalists in Gaza and that it will always honour us to fight for our homeland, with our words or with our weapons. ✍️Op-ed for @nywarcrimes

It has been two years of war, two years of living with absence, and it still hasn’t ended. With a trembling heart, I share my article from the front page of the New York War Crimes @nywarcrimes What remains is written here.

This is our task: to meet obscenity with steel, cowardice with commitment, death with life — to make the image an act, to make the word a will. Read the full issue online at https://t.co/EpXxdsItBC or pick up a copy in NYC, Philly, Chicago and LA.

To honor the martyrs is to refuse their death. They live as long as we fight, and so today we mourn but tomorrow we renew our courage. Day after day, generation after generation, we strive for a justice more encompassing than the present destruction.

At this issue's heart are remembrances: 8 journalists in Gaza speak about their martyred, beloved colleagues: a daughter of Jabalia mourns Anas al-Sharif; a son of Shuja’iyya mourns Mohammed Qreiqeh; a wife, the husband she lost two weeks into the genocide; a cousin, a cousin.

@wawog_now write about its boycott of the NYTimes. An Italian worker promises that “not a single nail will leave from our ports, airports, and rail stations and reach the Zionist entity.” Palestine Action emphasize the importance of supporting our prisoners unconditionally.

Alaa Alqaisi writes about her devastating evacuation from Gaza; @abubakerabedw challenges the distinction between resistance fighters and journalists; and Fatima Joumaa reflects on one year since the escalated war on Lebanon. https://t.co/D4eb1x1RbC

“Who will rise for Gaza?” the editors ask in the front editorial note. “It is the question that headlines our issue, the spirit of the times, the only question worth asking in our schools and streets.”

Across 12 pages writers, organizers, artists and poets in Palestine, Lebanon, and beyond reflect on the past two years: the unconscionable loss and devastation, our martyrs, the failures of the movement, and the sacrifices we must make.

The 20th issue of @nywarcrimes is out today, two years after the Palestinian resistance in Gaza launched its Al-Aqsa Flood Operation and the Zionist regime unleashed its ongoing campaign of terror and starvation across the Strip.

When Jeffrey Goldberg was Greta Thunberg’s age, he was volunteering at the same Zionist prison camp, Ketziot, where she is now being held. His decrepit magazine won’t cover this, so here’s the last piece @TheAtlantic published about Greta’s activism—in June 2023. Aged well.
The desert prison where Israel is holding the flotilla activists is called Ketziot. Known for torture and abuse, it’s also where Jeffrey Goldberg - current editor of The Atlantic magazine - volunteered as a prison guard in the 80s when he left the US to serve in the Israeli army.

It’s unacceptable that Israel is continuing to hold our colleague Alex Colston who was reporting on the flotilla from the boats. The reports of inhumane treatment are deeply disturbing. Drop Site’s statement: https://t.co/hO4xwtZemD

Israeli leaders are making it explicitly clear, in writing, that they will continue the genocide in Gaza once the hostages/POWs are returned. That is their condition for remaining in the government. But of course, this won’t make any headlines.
💥Neither Ben Gvir not Smotrich are leaving the government. Netanyahu, when he speaks, will declare victory
