Dear customers, we lost our high voltage power line supplying Katosi water works following this vandalism incident. Subsequently, normal water production and supply schedules to the Kampala Eastern service area was affected.
.@uetcl_ceo together with a team from @UEDCLTD inspected the vandalized towers along the 132kV Owen Falls–Mukono North and Mukono North–Namanve South transmission lines. Works to restore the towers have commenced and are expected to last at least a week. We condemn these acts

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to restore the power line yesterday. This morning, our team 👷♀️ is finalizing the remaining stringing works and energize the line before end of day. Once again, all inconveniences are highly regretted.
