@HistoryBoomer But are you going to do anything to help (endorse?) labor collectives or say unions? I ask because Capitalism as it stands, at least in the US, isn't working for a very large part of the population, and making much of the rest miserable. Or do you stand with the status quo?.

What will actually happen is that ratings will actually matter to NPR/PBS stations in a meaningful way. And they will have to at least pay lip service the same way Bezos has to at WaPo because he’s tired of losing money.
My guess is that defunding NPR is ultimately going to leave behind a fairly large national media organization that moves further left as it becomes even more reliant on donors.

This is the problem with the Internet: it’s impossible to tell the difference between people who are just stupid and people who are lying.
Rural and tribal communities cannot plug in a TV and get PBS like it’s 2008. There is no free TV signal. Obama eliminated it at the behest of the cable companies. So this is just a lie.
