Tried out my new macro lens on some frost this morning. Pretty cool. I have some stuff to figure out about Macro shooting, but it seems like it'll work well.

My mom ordered a custom blanket for our newest cat, with only photos of her on it. She loves it. Both of our cats now use it as their primary wrestling ring.

Holy shit. The CEO of United Healthcare was just killed in midtown Manhattan. He was headed to their annual investor conference and was supposed to speak this morning. Shot as he stepped out of his hotel.

I love when public figures (especially those cuddling up to the future president) call people douchebag. They talk about making America great again but when did we decide being decent or at least PROFESIONAL to each other was out? I'm sick of all the names and attitudes.
As for these accusations against him, I consider them worth less than nothing. Under our laws, a man is considered innocent until proven guilty. If AG Garland (an unprincipled douchebag) could have secured a conviction against Gaetz, he would have, but he knew he could not.

All week it was calling for good weather today. Late yesterday it was showing rain and clouds until 7am. Now it's going to be cloudy and rainy until 2pm. I'm super disappointed. :/
Taking Friday off instead of my birthday so I can have a 3 day weekend. Going to a park in the morning, then lunch with the wife, then airport in the afternoon, and a special dinner in the evening. Hope it makes up for my actual birthday.

One of our cats has started regularly destroying the inside of our couch. She doesn't learn from any form of punishment and it's impossible to keep her out of the couch.... I'm not sure what to do.

Ive been going through old photos lately and really like these. Took them at a Harry Potter event in 2018. The guy was teaching folks how to use swords and these girls were just rocking it and having a lot of fun.
