(1/3) Don’t give up too early on statins. Assess nonadherence, check LDL-C levels to monitor, remember not all nonadherence is “forgetting”. Sometimes, patients intentionally stop statins (50% after 1.5 years). Support patients by building trust in our care team. #CardsJC
