The leech pattern has been doing the job. Bluegills, bass, and my first carp on a fly have hit this pattern. All came off, and I only landed two smallies. The tip of the hook was bent. Check your hooks often. #fishing #flyfishing #bassfishing #smallmouth #SmallmouthBass #smallie

Lots of smallies and a few small largemouth. The water rose a few inches, but the temps are still in the low 70s, which is high for late September. I think once it drops a few degrees, the fish will get a little more aggressive.
