@bitcoincoreorg Point I wanted to make was… do most shitcoins also base they're clients on Satoshi's codebase or has any of them came up with something different that can be retrofitted to Bitcoin? Is there a really good full node implementation out there that can be brought back to Bitcoin?.

It still amazes me how few truly distinct #Bitcoin client implementations are out there. Really just btcd, libbitcoin and the family of @bitcoincoreorg derivatives (which includes forks as well as older versions of Core) – not sure if I should count BDK or Rust Bitcoin.

Why not @SwiftLang? It's easier and way more powerful than javascript, truly multiplatform (embedded, wasm, linux) interoperable and provides safety and concurrency guarantees at compile time. Did I mention it supports scripting as well? Oh and it's fully open source, just sayin'.
What if JavaScript didn’t just run in the browser… but powered the entire stack, peer-to-peer?🍐. @mafintosh joins @JSJabber to talk about building full apps without servers, Bare.js, and a whole new way to think about app distribution. Check it out ➡️

When did #Xcode gained the ability to open plain old arbitrary folders? No workspace or package manifest required just "xed ." and voilà! I know every other editor has this but feel like it's a HUGE step into the 21st century for platforms devs 😅

Ok the AI knows about @SwiftBitcoinOrg that's pretty cool! "Someone" should try asking it to build an iOS wallet based on Swift Bitcoin see how good the documentation is 🤔

Using non-copyable types (Rust-like ownership) for LMDB bindings means there's now almost no classes left in the entire @SwiftBitcoinOrg code base, only @swiftlang actors, structs and enums – OOP proponents in disbelief!

Giving @getpubky a whirl!. Feels really put-together from a first usage perspective! 👏.
