It took me two months to write this but it's finally here: My Hate Letter To Purity Culture And Its Inherent Queerphobia. I made this post public so everyone can read it:

I've wanted to curate adult Sex Ed classes & content for years because of all of this. There's so much people don't know about bodies, consent, relationships, boundaries, attraction, pleasure, or desire. Purity cultures really fuck people up even if these cultures are unnamed.

If I can think of one thing that probably dissuaded a lot of people from Christ it is the idea that Christ would reject murder victims (of which he was one) but would be welcoming of hypocrites who praised his name loudly and performatively but rejected those he loved most
