Pretty clear to me now that veo 3 and Sora 2 both have their strengths and neither is a replacement for the other.

I don’t know yet if gpt-5 high is better than opus at coding, but for other stuff at least it seems to be in the ballpark, which is insane given its $10 and opus is $75. It’s getting panned but OAI cooked with gpt-5

@bindureddy @bindureddy the model listed as “GPT-5 Pro” on livebench is NOT gpt-5 pro, it’s just GPT-5 Thinking at max reasoning effort. Pro isn’t currently available in the API.
