While I can't say the same for every place in Malaysia. I've seen people leave their laptops in cafes for hours at a time and nothing happens. I do try to get other cafe goers to help watch my stuff if I have to dip out, but other people don't seem to care.

I tried some difficult things today. Asked for scrap cloth from a shop to make scrunchies. THEY SAID YES I can craft stuff! Asked a group of office workers if they could watch my stuff while I ran to eat. (They said no but they said the store workers would and they DID)
