Side effect of two European road trips and a tour of Aus & NZ via Hong Kong and Singapore. I am way better at Geoguessr than I used to be. So I guess it’s South America next for me.

The company hired me to lead their "Agile Transformation." I don't know what Agile means. Nobody does. That's why it works. I make $425,000 a year. To move sticky notes. From left to right. On a board. The board is digital now. The sticky notes cost $80,000 in Jira licenses.

✍️ New for @The_Cutback A brilliant comeback from United but a feeing of it being overshadowed by missed chances, poor defending and a sense of “what if” 34 shots, an xG of 4.98, how didn’t United win this game? See my thoughts below👇 https://t.co/cMge3mdDUx

United’s xG of 4.98 told one story, but missed chances and poor game management defined a chaotic draw.

The lesser spotted Sam Kerr (and me). You would think she would be all over Aus but no.

Feel very passionately (for obvious reasons) about more women's football specific coverage, and the more people help fund it, i.e. paying for subscriptions, the more the industry can deliver🧵

OK I've read the book now. First half does indeed provide context as to why she might be so wounded by it all, but the second half is so many words when "I hate HH" probably would have sufficed.

The Mary Earps v Hannah Hampton situation has been very puzzling to say the least. I decided to bring it back to the football and show why Hampton was the obvious choice to start over Earps 🧤 Read now on @The_Cutback

Yes exactly this.
Choose your avatar. #TeamHannah. #TeamMary. Community Note: There’s only one right answer. But maybe this can also be sad, a reminder of how easily we exalt humans to heroes + how precipitous the inevitable crash down is. @TheAthleticFC

I wonder if the people piling onto her have ever had this experience, I expect not.

I have empathy for Mary Earps tbh. She hasn’t done herself any favours with the way she has phrased certain things in her book, but it’s a particular kind of work hell to slog your guts out only to be overlooked for a role in favour of someone who’s shown questionable conduct
