please check out our recent work investigating the role of inter-regional conduction delays in generating networks of phase synchronization, using biologically realistic computational models, advanced Bayesian methods and MEG data.
Do inter-regional axonal conduction delays shape cortical phase-synchronization networks? We used Approximate Bayesian Computation (ABC) methods to compare MEG data with 3 Biophysical Network Models (BNMs) with different conduction delay assumptions: (1/4)

We demonstrate that curvature measures capture relevant information in fMRI brain functional networks. Fruitful collaboration with @areejitsamal and brilliant students @yydv_98 and @pavithraE_ !.
Our paper applying discrete Ricci curvatures to brain functional connectivity networks associated with autism spectrum disorder is now published. Led by @pavithraE_ & @yydv_98 in collaboration with @nitinwilliams, E. Saucan, J. Jost @mpiMathSci .

great to be part of this fascinating project on neuronal correlates of speech processing @AnnaMauranen @PalvaLab.
Excellent long-standing collaboration with @AnnaMauranen lab is finally out. We show that brain activity reflects chunk boundaries in natural speech Check

do check out our latest work on Biophysical Network Models (BNMs) of phase-synchronization in MEG resting-state!.
1/5 New preprint!. ๐ ๐. We studied the roles of conduction delays, structural connectome, and regional dynamics in a Biophysical Network Model (BNM) of resting-state activity. Phase synchrony in the model was correlated at r=0.49 with the MEG connectome.

very useful advice.
A rather strange period of wins for me. Im humbled to be the recipient of the Autism Scholar Award by the Council of Ontario Universities. I will have to decline the award due to holding the CIHR but I wanted to share some lessons Iโve learned about applying for graduate awards๐.
