I used to think it was $10k a month, then $500k a year, etc. Now? I see rich freelancers as those who have the systems and revenue in place to step away for month-long vacation without missing a beat. THAT’S the holy grail.

Great idea!
Impress your clients (and get more work from them) by suggesting topics they haven't already covered on their blog. I find it easiest to spot these opportunities when I'm adding internal links. Topics that don't come up when doing a site: search make for great recommendations.

YEAP! And this is why charging per word doesn't really make sense to me! Value > word count.
I just spent 2 hours trying to write 75 characters. That’s the equivalent of 12 words. Anyone else have the problem of the fewer words you have to work with, the harder it is to write?

@kat_boogaard So, before DMing me with a 10K-follower offer, the promise of a long list of leads, or any other magical trick, take some time to get to know me and see if we are even a good fit for each other. Even reacting to my IG stories goes a long way in building some sort of rapport.

I hate it when people just DM me out of the blue to sell me something. One thing I've learned from my freelance biz is that marketing and sales are all about building relationships. But not BS relationships. Authentic relationships.
