This is obviously comical to cite in hindsight. But the only way I, who've had half a dozen lives/careers by now, broke into anything new is...reading 20-30 books on it. You can indeed just do things. Most people are less competent than they seem. Everyone is winging it.

I'm appalled by the virulent anti-Indian racism on X. Indian immigrants contribute immensely to our nation while committing almost no crimes and requiring no public assistance. There are issues with the H1-B visa program but Indian immigrants are a huge net positive to the US.
