Incorrect. Balamaramapuram weavers are Tamil weavers and they did not spread to Chendamangalam and Koothampalli. Chendamangalam weavers (Devanga) were brought by Paliath family (ministers of Cochin royals) & Koothampalli weavers are Devangas (Kannada), brought by Cochin royals.
