Asking for help (or just for more information) is how you learn. Actually, this doesn't just apply to juniors. Continue asking. There are no/only stupid questions.
As a grad student and postdoc I was never shy about asking my colleagues what they were doing, asking for help, or just asking for more information on a domain. I’ve learned that this is actually something many trainees struggle with. Learn to ask what, why, and how, and your.
