Switch 2 I don’t think was won purely on price. But, Nintendo could order 100 million SoCs from Nvidia, and it would have 0 impact for any dGPUs they are currently making.

You’re missing a big point. Nvidia won the switch on price, because they didn’t want AMD to have all the consoles. The SoC for the Switch is on a node that is not capacity constrained, so Nvidia has no reason not to order as many units as Nintendo wants from Samsung 8nm node.
Dude is still fighting his small brain fight. 🤣 He thinks Nvidia's contract with Nintendo is a huge % of Nvidia's revenue, I can tell you it's 0.1% at BEST. The profit margin for Blackwell is 74%, that's a minimum of $23K per chip sold to AI companies vs $450 revenue. 🤣

Yes. My current PC is. My prior PC and now backup, a laptop, was about equal to the PS5.

Those videos are showcases of the game. Not him stating that about LM, I can dig up his comments in some podcasts.

But the Liquid Metal is literally running into failures on PS5? It being irregular in when it happens, makes it a time bomb. It also doesn’t fail the same on every unit, per Alderon Games CEO and founder, making path of Titans. https://t.co/M4UnimkrS4

Maaan, am I gonna have to school you on hardware too? Please @SmashJT, your stupidity is exhausting. Can't you just dress up like an elf and drink your sadness away for the rest of the year?

Uh. Beyond the whole, Sony trying to actually have modern hardware in it when it launches? Switch console with actual modern HW sure seems like a winning device?
This is easily the saddest thing I’ve read. They’re really trying to just carbon-copy the Switch & nothing more. No games worth buying, no exclusive gameplay that comes with it, just a Switch clone running PS games at worse performance most likely. Console warring needs to

If they’re porting the game to Windows anyways, getting on Xbox should be fairly low dev cost and time? If they push the boundaries of what the console HW can push, very different story. It’s all about opportunity cost.
Cannot fathom how anyone at SE thinks that jumping on the sinking Xbox ship is a good idea? PlayStation must have pissed SE Leadership off bad if they’re posting this kind of stuff 🤷 Scorned ex GF vibes 😆

Gamepass, even with its price hike, is still a good value for plenty of people. But there are massive amounts of people it’s overpriced at PC only tier of $16.49. Nevermind the insane $30/month pricing. And I’m the idiot who buys a console for 1-3 games 😅

I hope to be able to justify buying Halo Campaign Evolved. I want Halo studios to nail it, because I want to have new halo games that have feeling of old. why would I pay, $197.88 (PC GP) a year, vs buying one game? Well, and FE:Fortune’s Weave, but that’s SW2 exclusive
Yo folks if you are not on Xbox you are missing out. 4 games that will be day one Ultimate games. This is insane.

Dude. Clockspeeds are actually unknown (which dictate FLOPs) RAM amounts are unknown (and the bus width difference is 32 bits I believe, like 160 vs 192?) Will Magnus be stronger? Yeah, no shit, it’s more silicon. But stop posting crap that makes you less credible.
Xbox Magnus GPU specs 26Tf of raw power Vs PS6 GPU specs 20Tf of raw power By comparisons Xbox Series X GPU 12Tf of raw power Vs PS5 PRO GPU 16Tf of raw power PS5 GPU 10Tf of raw power Obviously, there's more to the specs than just GPU power there's also CPU and memory

1. Yes it is more complex, but miserable is probably a skill issue, or terrible luck. 2. If you like console better, great! 3. Rofl PC will perform as much money as you want to spend. Console raw value is nearly always better “hardware per dollar”. Yes.
I'm really pissed at the "PC Master Race" propaganda from when I picked up gaming My experience with my computer is miserable, only makes my life worse all the time, nowadays consoles are actually powerful, they're the only one to have the games be stable PC gaming is an

Whatever extra money the spent “fixing it” after they ran into issues, it probably more than they’ll make in profit. If it is super good, and does well, cool. I just doubt it. Concord 2.0, but stupider.
I think Marathon will fall off within a month. I actually believe Playstation is launching it just to try and recoup some of the costs for this project. We get this video today, and no firm release date… in 4 months. That just screams “we are fucked here bob.”

AVOID. 14th gen intel has degradation issues, even with Intel’s fixes, I would absolutely still not trust it. If you trust that, or are willing to swap out CPU if it degrades, fair enough. Everything else looks fine for that price.

Nope. All depends on distance and somewhat game type, and input devices. Had much more fun playing my games on 27-32” display vs 50-something TV from couch. And some games feel better to play on my 7” steam deck vs those monitors.

Prioritize? Enough performance (varies on game) > Graphics > RT > Fast loading. The fast loading one is funky—if a game has lots of loading, I’d put it first. But if it is one long load at start, followed by seamless gameplay? Who cares.
Which one of those do you prioritize the most about gaming?🚀 ✅Fast Loading ✅60-120 FPS ✅Graphics ✅Ray-Tracing Let’s go!😎

I really don’t get why Xbox fanboys an anti-Xbox fanboys cannot learn to include HW/SW in their video/comments. Xbox hardware this gen is very dead in 26, like it was basically forever ago. Xbox software is 100% fine. Hopefully Xbox “Magnus” can save HW long term.

Also, the only consumer dGPU which AI has wanted from consumers is the 5090? And I guess 4090 before that.

Can you explain what you mean in more detail? Last consoles to use dGPU was Wii U in 2012. Because AI (mostly Sam Altman’s deals with SK and SS) is driving up RAM prices now… Which will flow to consoles early 2026, 100% Maybe mid 2026 depending on companies stockpiles.
@GavinNewsom Yeah man this is totally because of tariffs and has nothing to do with AI making the price of GPU's skyrocket. You propagandists never quit do you.
