Quality over quantity is key for productive #golfpractice Plan your sessions ahead with up to 3 main goals. Focus on shots that reduce your scores the most not just the ones you enjoy. @GolfPracticeBud will provide shot by shot guidance. Its coming soon. Make every shot count!

Why are no U.K. politicians dealing with our ultra processed food and obesity epidemic that costs taxpayers £58 billion annually? Talking to CEOs of food companies it seems they are frightened of the editors of media like the Mail and Sun for nannying claims. RT if u want change

Remember your best shot is yet to come so keep your head up, stay positive and don’t let a bad shot get the best of you.

Focus on exactly where you want the ball to go and how you want it to get there. By setting a clear intention and giving it your full attention you create the best opportunity of hitting a great shot!

Next time you hit a disappointing shot, take a deep breath and remember that the only shot that really matters is the one you’re going to play next.

This is so easy to say, but so difficult to do! We’ve all been there – you hit a bad shot and it feels like the end of the world, your round destroyed! But a bad shot can only cost you a maximum of 2 shots and dwelling on it can only hurt your game and cause more pain.

How many of the top 100 courses have you played? I’ve played 21 and Royal County Down is my favourite. How many have you played? Where’s your favourite?

Max Homa on keeping it simple: “I'm doing a very good job of not feeling like I need to be Superman. … Tiger was famous for hitting all 9 shots and I always wanted to do that. … I CAN hit them all but I'm going to pick the one I'm real comfortable with and hit (my cut) a lot.”

With the end of 2022 fast approaching, now might be a great time to review and reflect on your 2022 performances so you can come up with a game plan to get better and make 2023 your best year yet!

Two sayings that always resonate with me are: ‘You don’t know what you don’t know’ and ‘If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always be where you’ve always been’ (TD Jakes).

Post round, some of the questions they answer are: What was the best shot of your round? What went well? What can you do to be better next time? What do you want to improve?

All of the players I work with have performance workbooks to fill in before and after their rounds so they can build game plans and then reflect and review their performances.

At times, we all make mistakes, and if you don’t self reflect on your actions or review your performances with your coach or coaches, it can be really difficult to work out how you can improve and get better.

Reflection can be very impactful for both your golf and your life, as it can encourage you to identify what you do well, what you have learned, and what you need to work on to improve.

Here’s a great photo I used for one of my assignments. This is the amount of footfall a 4 ball will do on 1 green. Going into winter understand why your greenstaff will protect the greens at all costs. Whether they’re frozen or wet, you can see how much wear they will have. 1/2
