My break from Twitter unfortunately didn't have the required effect on the general out of hand high jinks here. So join me in my blue period at for wildly inconsistent activity with a laphroaig & musings on Arsenal, GAD novels, the UK, EU & Thailand.

The Muslim population in Minneapolis is estimated to be around 3% of the city's total population. However young people have since a decade now reduced alcohol intake compared to younger populations in the past. Still I guess the 3% are to blame.
How Muslim culture is changing Minnesota:. Palmer’s, a 119 year old bar will be shutting its doors due to the “changing culture” that has overtaken Minneapolis. Businesses on this strip have struggled to survive as the growing Muslim population takes over.

Use to love the Guardian football previews at the start of each season. But they are starting to sound like they are generated by AI. I suspect quite a few articles now are done like this, perhaps with an editor journalist touch it up before publication.

Joey spending the last 4 days celebrating England Womens' historic 2nd EURO victory took a bit of a toll on the lad.
Today, it is with great regret that I must announce my retirement from social media. It’s just too dangerous with this Online Safety Act. You can find me on Friday and Monday on @Common_SensePod . Admin only will now post on my feed. 🐕💨.

Jeez but Arsenal Twitter is full of morons. A sample size of the number of touches in a friendly in asia during 17 minutes as a late sub means literally nothing. For a start there could be multiple touches in a dribbling move.

For the 100th F***ing time if you really really think we need huge extra airport capacity. build a new airport at Ashford. We already have existing fast trains to London, Paris, Brussels & whole of EU from there. They could do with the jobs, theres plenty of land to build it.
Just to give you some idea of the impact of Heathrow’s plans for a 3rd runway, this is Harmondsworth village, one of the 4 Heathrow villages that will be wiped off the face of the earth by Heathrow.15,000 people will lose their homes & community to profit a foreign owned company.

Anfield Wrap is a decent. But my least favourite thing about podcasts is "transfer analysis" built on absolutely nothing at all. Theres a whole discussion here based on what some Pool fan thinks *might* have been discussed in 2024 at another club of which there's no reporting.
"The thing with the 3 year contract is, it it seems to have been viewed by Newcastle as that's why he's staying. In reality, though, they probably should have looked at that as 'That's why we get loads for this player'. ". 🎥🗣️ The Transfer Gutter Show with Saily
