Falling short of a goal doesn't mean failure. Often it's progress. 14 experiments, 10k people: people counted results that didn't meet targets as losses—even if they were gains. The key measure of success isn't reaching your destination. It's improving from your starting point.

Fair play Cobblers. Could have folded after what happened last week & then finding themselves 2-0 down inside 33 minutes. But they were excellent in the second-half and deservedly got one back. Had chances to equalise but they are right in the tie heading back to Sixfields #ntfc

Supporting Scunthorpe reached a new low yesterday. Embarrassing, humiliating and yet fully expected. The decision by Hill to play that young a team in a game of such significance for L2 was a poor one and easy to have sympathy for Northampton.

Honestly thought Mansfield 2004 would never be topped as an injustice. But Scunnys deliberate under strength team, and teams being taken off at the Mem meaning they knew the result of our game when they came back on will never be topped. Absolute disgrace #ntfc

It might be unintentional, but many companies don’t see it that way. In fact, HR analyst @MervynDinnen believes “many businesses are so fixated on external hiring that their people must leave to get the development they need.” 3/5

Evidence, if we needed any more, of why referendums are very, very bad.

Our Director of Talent Transformation & Insight, @nickgallimore, spoke to @ComputerWeekly about closing the tech skills gap. “Lots of people believe that someone’s past experience is the best indicator of success, but studies show the opposite." Read more➡️ https://t.co/u1fjtkFg5O

Despite ongoing efforts from government, education providers and industry to close the tech skills gap, not much has changed, so will new initiatives start to close the chasm?
