@AdamBandt
If you knew anything about the history of Melbourne you would know that the area in question was the former site of the Melbourne cattle yards because it’s on a FLOOD plain.. it has flooded many times in the last 100 years, but that doesn’t fit your narrative 🤡🤡

the same area flooded in 1919, multiple floods in the 1930’s and 40’s and another massive flood in the same area in 1963. Can you please retract the trash you tweeted about the 2022 flood; unless all of these were caused by AGW 🤡🤡
@PaulBongiorno
You start Paul and lead by example. Perhaps that can be your New Year’s resolution; to be with out fossil fuels for the year:
- No cars; even the EV variants use significant amounts of fossil fuels in their production
- No flying anywhere
- No modern hospitals visits
- No…
@AdamBandt
How many services does the current interest bill of $16B buy? You know, the interest servicing the current debt. Or is The Greens plan to rack up a massive debt, blow up the economy and leave the majority of the population living out of their cars…
@SenatorThorpe
You swore an oath of Office. Either you discharge that oath or resign your commission as a Senator.
By continuing to call for conflict with the Commonwealth, you are not living up to the obligation you committed to as Senator
@AlboMP
You have been in power eighteen months and you’re still looking in the rear vision mirror.
The country is hurting and angry; you have been away for most of the last month (and going away again at weeks end).
Starting leading the country or you will be history in eighteen months
@JEChalmers
@JEChalmers
it’s now a little more than half way through your term. The ongoing references to the previous government is a complete waste of time. You immediately turn off the ~70% of voters that are not putting your party as first preference (based on recent polling).

So if Europe is rearming, where is it buying its weapons from:

Lockheed Martin
Raytheon
General Dynamics
Northrop Grumman

When the policy cabinet is bare other than a climate change slogan (and no strategy to achieve it), when your exposed for a lack of understanding on economics and tax, the only thing left is distraction.
The painted mural is great politics of distraction; cheap and no substance

Further
@AdamBandt
all of the green technologies that you advocate for require fossil fuels to bring them into being. Take EVs for instance, 15-20 tonnes of CO2 emissions per vehicle (fossil fuels) as opposed to 6 tonnes per vehicle to make an ICE car.
It’s not easy being green

By making gas exploration more expensive, companies will retain more profits.
As the supply of gas falls; the profits from gas field increase. Supply/Demand
The market has spoken.
Your tweet did not age well

Great thread but here is a question back; how is your company comparable to Tesla? $TSLA is a car manufacturer. You can not assemble cars remotely and then fabricate centrally. You need most of your staff on location.

And that’s why the electorates who backed in the TEALS love renewable energy. The return on the investment made is underwritten by the Federal Government, therefore de- risking their own potential losses. So corporatise profits and socialise losses.
For high net worth investors…

I noticed that too yesterday. Most of the yellow stickers are discounted off a highly inflated price and do not represent a discount on the price six months previously. It’s like the supermarket duopoly don’t think we can remember the older prices

Rubbish.
Have a look at the voting data from the NT. The remote mobile polling data are the votes from Indigenous Communities. None of the polling places reflect the percentage that you have tweeted about.

You need to understand that revenue does not equate to profit. The period in question relates to the pandemic when these companies were loosing billions of dollars. The main tax these companies pay is on profits; company tax. The PRRT would have also been differed due to loss
@KosSamaras
This type of announcement is theatre rather than substance though Kos.
Let’s have a review to distract the populace from cost of living; that is not going to work.
Also there does not seem to be a clear understanding of the difference between deinflation and disinflation.

The Western world is at war with Russia. Prior to the war Russia was the largest global supplier of Nat gas, the second largest crude oil supplier and the third highest coal producer. What is the outcome to the global energy prices with no new AU gas, oil and coal?

When I was in Vietnam I got a pair of glasses made inside two hours for AUD $32. So one idea is to fly to Vietnam!
Second idea is Specsavers. I got two pairs of glasses inside $200 after my health insurance rebate. Much much cheaper than OPSM

Pandering to your political base rather than make responsible decisions for the whole country. People who obtain degrees earn more and should therefore be responsible to pay for their education.
This policy approach is emblematic of what is wrong with your political party.

Never apologise for a no show MAV. It is our privilege to here your thoughts and detailed analysis daily.

Dismissal of nuclear by an individual massively invested in wind/solar. What a surprise! No vested interests here at all….
I’ll avoid taking advice from “Mr Lethal Humidity”.

You make this tweet on the pretence that you are above politics.
During your time as Opposition Leader you promised all Australians a $250 discount on there energy bills under policy you advocated. Many times!
Reality as Opp. Leader you are constantly seeking media coverage
@AdamBandt
Let’s look at Germany:
- Closed coal fired power stations
- Closing nuclear plants
- Has the largest renewable sources of power of any grid in EU26
Germany is entirely dependent on Russian gas.
The world is increasingly desperate for non Russian gas
Let’s close down AU gas 🤦🏻♂️
@AdamBandt
Inflation is the creation of monetary policy. Specifically during the pandemic $500B was released into AU monetary supply, The RBA kept interest rates too low for too long and too slow to react to inflation in late 2020.
Note this has nothing to do with corporate greed.
@SenatorThorpe
Reconciliation by definition is a coming together of people under common goals. It is clear that is not your goal, rather it is to divide the people and put us against one another.
History will judge your actions poorly.

Can you please explain how your signature policy of a 60% reduction of CO2 emissions by 2030 effects:
- wages
- interest rates
- productivity
- ability for Australia to export oil, gas, mine commodities and graze cattle
I’ll wait for you to articulate details
@LezLuthor
Let me get this right. You take a still from the 1977 movie “Capricorn One” and photoshop over a photo of Ukraine to cover the centre of the picture. Ironically this is a movie about a fake Mars landing.
You use this to claim Ukraine war is fake. That is hilarious
@AshleyLeahy
Let me explain the difference between disinflation and deflation.
We are going through a period of disinflation; the rate of price increases has been slowing. Prices are still going up, just at a slower rate.
The government reaction to the numbers as deflation; that prices are…

But it is a narrative… claiming the flood of a flood plain that has a long history of flooding was the consequence of coal & gas mining would the equivalent of a Botanist writing about AGW claiming that the city’s of Australia would run out of drinking water by the 2020’s 😳🧐
@AdamBandt
So
@AdamBandt
as judged by your tweets the transition of energy away from carbon to alternatives is the key priority for the Australian government.

Several questions for big four banks:
-How many customers have transitioned to interest only loans/repayment plans in q1 FY24?
-What percentage of customers are in 60+ day arrears in q2 FY24?
The real impact of the cliff won’t be evident until the end of 2023/ Christmas retail
