We must organize indications for all treatments for obesity and its associated conditions - one comprehensive approach, approved by a collective of physicians, governments, pharmaceutical industries, and insurers is needed to advance human health in our global obesity crisis.

I find this a bit shocking. I would have presumed a similar significant benefit in reducing risk. We see a reduction in cancer risk after metabolic bariatric surgery.
