Bariatric surgery provides an auto-transfusion of native glp1 every time you- bariatric surgery the original glp1 agonist.
My article in The Daily Mail today highlights how a low carb diet reduces appetite & increases GLP-1 hormone naturally instead of the jabs Also showcases @DoctorTro paper His patients lost as much weight low carb as people paying for Wegovy š

Thanks Ted. Hereās the original article by my team highlighted by NYT showing the halo effect of bariatric surgery. Obesity is a family disease and if one is affected, all are affected. Similarly, if thereās a lesson for one of us, thereās a lesson for all of us. Treating one.
It's becoming apparent that #GLP1s are having a ācontagion effectā in some families. But this effect is a good one with healthier lives for other family members. HT: @jackiesnow @ObesityAction .

Absolutely/ the stunning impact of weight loss surgery upon idiopathic intracranial hypertension includes reversal of lost visual fields!additionally vp shunts canāt flow uphill with increased intra-abdominal pressure so if you have obesity and ICH weight loss can help.
New findings suggest that bariatric surgery can effectively alleviate or improve symptoms related to idiopathic intracranial hypertension:

Always a voice of reason- thanks @MichaelAlbertMD.
Real-world GLP-1 outcomes are often 25ā50% worse than what we observe in clinical trials. - - -.Yet that doesnāt stop some clinics from advertising trial data as if it reflects their own results. If you donāt collect outcomes, you shouldnāt get to claim them. Period. Stop the

Agree- along with hydration, resistance training and compression garments like @SPANX can help mitigate skin elasticity w rapid and significant weight loss.
Iām honored to be quoted in this article about the surprising effects of rapid weight loss from GLP medications like Ozempic. Changes can appear as āOzempic face,ā āOzempic butt,ā āOzempic feet,ā āOzempic hands,ā and even āOzempic fingersā due to fat loss outpacing skinās ability

Naw- everyone has a plan until you hit- itās not only incisions, itās decisions- so many surgeries involve contingencies never seen or anticipated-the human condition is infinite in its majesty and variation- no algorithm can surpass great surgical intuition & dexterity.
Robots will surpass good human surgeons within a few years and the best human surgeons within ~5 years. @Neuralink had to use a robot for the brain-computer electrode insertion, as it was impossible for a human to achieve the required speed and precision.

Exactly Mike- if therapy is maintained then results will be seen.
To be clear, if we understand obesity through the lens of a lipostat, this outcome is predictable. Since semaglutide was stopped, the new energy homeostasis depends entirely on the surgical contribution alone. If surgery + med was used in combination, then the weights would be.
