2024 was a busy year, but for @ndielections, every year is the year of #elections. We’re looking forward to 2025 and to keeping to @NDI ’s mission to strengthen and safeguard democratic institutions, processes, norms and values.

15) In November, NDI Elections were in Poland for the Declaration of Principles for International Election Observation meeting and in Brussels for @EPDE_org 's FURIC conference, helping advance principles of electoral integrity with international and citizen observers worldwide.

7) In July, NDI Elections launched the Monitoring the Impact of New Election Technologies in Elections Toolkit, which provides a framework & a roadmap for observers to assess the impact of adopting new electronic electoral technologies (EETs) on #elections

6) Election observers are under threat as never before. NDI Elections welcomed the decision by @CIDH and the report by the Venice Commission recognizing election observers as human rights defenders as well as the @OAS_official /DECO’s leadership on this critical issue.
